Performance Requirements
Sealability: It can effectively prevent water vapour, dust, impurities, etc. from entering into the interior of the solar energy equipment, ensure the normal operation and stable performance of the equipment, and prolong its service life.
Weather resistance: It needs to be exposed to the outdoor environment for a long time, and it should be able to resist the erosion of natural factors such as ultraviolet radiation, high temperature, low temperature, humidity, sand and so on, and keep the performance unchanged under different climatic conditions.
Adhesion: good adhesive strength with the solar equipment frame, back panel, glass and other materials, to ensure that the sealing tape will not fall off or loose in the process of use.
Flexibility: with a certain degree of flexibility and elasticity, it can adapt to the thermal expansion and contraction of solar energy equipment in different environments, and will not cause sealing failure due to deformation.
Insulation: For solar panels and other equipment involving electrical components, the edge sealing tape should have good insulation properties to prevent leakage, short circuit and other safety hazards.
